Use of Cell Phone
Our employee cell phone policy outlines our guidelines for using cell phones at work. Everyone involved with the center must adhere to this policy. Failure to do so can result in consequences and disciplinary actions.
Cell Phones/ Communication Devices: This is not permitted while working on the floor or outside during work hours with the children. All cell phones must be kept in staff cubbies, purses etc. and NOT carry in their pockets when on floor.
If, for safety purposes, it is necessary for the staff to take their cell phones during outdoor time, fieldtrips and evacuation, it must be used only for emergency contact with the center.
If the cell phone / personal device is used for to photograph or videotape children, it must immediately be transferred to center’s device and deleted from the personal device.
Use of Center Electronic Devices
Staff may use center’s provided electronic device for business purpose only. Staff and all other using center’s computer and electronic devices must respect and protect privacy of others and must respect and protect the integrity of electronic sources. All communication must be in a respectful manner and the use, or the discovery of use of any threatening or inappropriate material must be reported.
Information about staff, children, parent/ guardian (photos & videos) must not be posted on the staff’s personal page without permission.
Authorized employees of the facility have the right to monitor the use of information technology and to examine, use and disclose any data found.
